The STYLE CNC 750 in action in hilly Norway
We’ve been using this new CNC machine since April 2024 at Aker Solutions, and our overall experience so far has been excellent. The machine has consistently done its job and even exceeding our expectations.
Key Benefits
The STYLE CNC 750 has brought significant benefits to our company, particularly in terms of process efficiency. Many parts are now machined faster, and loading new parts into the machine has become much quicker. This has resulted in a noticeable improvement in our workflow.
Customization
We’ve made great use of specific features, particularly the software on PC, which has been invaluable when training new operators and even for self-training. This flexibility has helped streamline the onboarding process for new team members and allowed us to test various applications before going live.
When it comes to meeting customer-specific requirements, the CNC machine has made a real difference. The user-friendly software means many of our employees have quickly learned how to operate the machine, reducing production time, especially when using the lathe.
Technological Impact
The CNC machine has definitely expanded our technological capabilities. We used to run certain parts on manual machines or even CNC milling machines, but we’ve found that these parts run much better on the lathe. Although we haven’t yet introduced new designs, we’ve noticed a significant improvement in how we handle existing parts of varying sizes.
Support
Our collaboration with STYLE CNC Machines during the purchase and implementation of the CNC machine was smooth from start to finish. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the entire process. The support and training we received were excellent, especially the hands-on practice using the very products we handle daily. And whenever we have any questions, the STYLE team is always available via phone or email.
The future
We definitely have plans to expand our use of CNC technology. In the near future, we’re considering replacing an older drill, and possibly even a CNC milling machine. As we look towards growth, CNC machines will play an increasingly important role in helping us scale our production capabilities.
Our advice to other companies considering a CNC machine is simple: if you are planning to run small series, this machine is a great investment. Just contact Style, and they’ll guide you through the process and answer any questions you have. One lesson we’ve learned is to think carefully about any extra options you may need upfront so that you won’t have to add them later.
